PTO Committees
Please explore the committee pages and find an opportunity to volunteer and engage in PTO life at Westchester. All of Westchester's PTO committees present opportunities, both big and small, to volunteer and engage in Westchester's PTO.
Executive Committee: The Westchester PTO Executive Committee is responsible for calling meetings, communicating information, organizing volunteers, and supporting all of the subcommittees in their efforts to organize PTO events, plan PTO supported activities, create community and raise funds.
Event Committees: Event committees do the work of organizing PTO Events. Some events like the Welcome Back Coffee are very small limited engagement events, and present easy opportunities to participate in the PTO. Other events, like Trivia Night, require months of planning, but even these events present plenty of small opportunities to engage. Many hands make light work!
Activities Committees: The PTO supports several year-round activities. Activities committees are responsible for planning, scheduling, and supporting activities and clubs, like WEE Ones, or acting as a liaison for non-PTO activities and clubs like scouting.
Community Support Committees: Lots of things happen behind the scenes to help create community at Westchester, so there are a lot of opportunities, both big and small, to help. Community Support Committees do things like organize our Spirit Gear Catalog and the Buzz Book.
Fund Raising Committees: Finally, there are a hand full of committees that work throughout the year to gather the resources the PTO uses to organize events, support activities, and build community.
