Meet Our Nurse

Message from Nurse Burney

I’m Emily Burney, and this is my eighth year at Westchester.

In 2009, I started my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).   Shortly thereafter, I went back to school and became a Registered Nurse (RN), and in 2022, I earned my Bachelors in Nursing.

When I’m not at school helping sick or injured students, I’m at home with my eight-year-old twins. They keep me busy with their activities!  I enjoy spending time with my family, vacationing at the beach, and watching St. Louis City games!
